Review of Jil Sander+ Fall 2024 Ad Campaign by Photographer Nikki McClarron with models Mila van der Horst and Junyeong Baek
Jil Sander+ continues its dialogue between design and nature with its Fall 2024 campaign, created once again in collaboration with photographer Nikki McClarron.
Following up on the consistent practice of putting Lucie and Luke Meier’s vision that extends the Jil Sander world into a more utilitarian, outdoor-ready range in conversation with the natural world that inspires it, the campaign this time finds itself in the Italian countryside. Blanketed in snow, the setting creates an otherworldly and tranquil atmosphere. The collection’s carefully considered details both echo and contrast the presences in this landscape, bringing delicate color and form to intimate moments of quiet connection.
Jil Sander continues to match its exacting and elegant take on contemporary luxury with some of the most soulful and beautiful fashion photography in the game – and the Jil Sander+ line seamlessly extends that practice into a consideration of human creativity’s interaction with the natural world.
