Review of Jimmy Choo Spring 2026 Ad Campaign by Photographer Henrik Purienne with model Camille Chifflot

Jimmy Choo’s Spring 2026 “Riviera” campaign, with imagery by Henrik Purienne, positions the brand within a sun-faded fantasy of coastal leisure, where Malibu stands in for an idealized South of France. Featuring Camille Chifflot, the campaign leans into a nostalgic vision of summer—one filtered through softness, warmth, and a deliberate sense of ease.
Purienne’s signature aesthetic—washed-out light, grain, and a slightly voyeuristic naturalism—anchors the narrative. The images feel candid but composed, balancing intimacy with aspiration. Chifflot is often captured mid-movement or in repose: perched on rocks, walking barefoot along the shoreline, or pausing in quiet solitude. This lends the campaign a sense of lived-in luxury, where the products are integrated into a lifestyle rather than overtly staged.
Materiality plays a central role. Raffia, gingham, and woven textures reinforce the Riviera motif, signaling craftsmanship while tapping into familiar codes of summer dressing. The accessories—particularly the BON BON and CINCH bags reimagined in these materials—are positioned as tactile objects meant to age with use. The gingham, in particular, introduces a slightly retro, almost domestic charm, softened by the fluidity of styling and setting.

There is a consistent visual language throughout: sun glare, ocean backdrops, and a muted, sandy palette punctuated by red and blue checks. However, this cohesion occasionally verges on repetition. The campaign’s commitment to atmosphere over variation means that individual images blur together, with limited narrative progression beyond the suggestion of an endless summer day.
Still, the campaign succeeds in articulating a clear point of view. Rather than emphasizing overt glamour or high-fashion artifice, Jimmy Choo frames luxury as something quieter and more experiential—rooted in texture, light, and environment. “Riviera” becomes less about a specific place and more about a feeling, one that is familiar, carefully constructed, and easy to consume.
