The Campaign Highlights the Journey and Style of Advocate and Cancer Survivor Isabella Strahan
Kenneth Cole has launched a new spring campaign called “Purposeful Voices,” featuring advocate and storyteller Isabella Strahan, who shares her personal battle with cancer. Directed by Carlos Serrao, the digital campaign includes a video where Strahan models pieces from the Kenneth Cole spring women’s ready-to-wear collection and discusses her journey and partnership with the brand to promote hope.
Kenneth Cole, the chairman and chief creative officer at Kenneth Cole Productions Inc., emphasized the campaign’s intent. “For over 40 years, we’ve used our voice to provoke thought and inspire conversation about important social issues and to help others feel seen, feel heard and feel relevant,” he explained. “This spring, we are launching our ‘Purposeful Voices’ campaign and partnering with individuals with a meaningful mission who are using their own voice to support and empower others.”
Isabella Strahan, chosen for her inspiring resilience after battling a cancerous brain tumor at age 19, is the first to be featured in the series. She recounts the severe challenges she faced, including brain surgery that temporarily impaired her ability to walk and talk. “Life can change so quickly,” Strahan reflected in the campaign video. She expressed gratitude for the platform to uplift others, saying, “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to use my voice to comfort, inspire and give hope to others fighting to survive. I’m honored that Kenneth recognized me as a beacon of light for those in need and asked me to be part of his ‘Purposeful Voices’ campaign.”
The campaign showcases “Isabella’s Picks,” a selection from Kenneth Cole Productions’ spring 2025 women’s collection, designed by Emily Cole, the new executive vice president, women’s creative director, and product strategy. The line includes items such as a layered vest with a detachable front shirt and gradient dye wide-leg denim jeans.
Emily Cole described the collection’s inspiration: “For spring 2025, our collection draws inspiration from nature featuring earthy tones and light, almost ethereal materials. In an era where technology increasingly shapes every aspect of our lives, we believe this return to simplicity and natural elements offers a grounding sense of balance — especially in today’s fast-paced urban lifestyle. This collection was designed to feel easy for women, allowing for effortless dressing that can feel comfortable while still looking elevated.”
