"Ballerina" Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Review of Lanvin “Ballerina” Spring 2024 Ad Campaign by Photographer Robin Galiegue with model Greta Hofer

The “ballet-core” trend may have waned, but for Lanvin, elegance and poise are never out of style. Shot by photographer Robin Galiegue, the brand’s latest campaign highlights a Spring 2024 refresh of its signature Ballerina flats.

Galiegue captures model Greta Hofer in airy portraits that exude an air of repose and tranquility. While the stylistic focus is on the footwear, stylist Ludivine Poiblanc does strong work to tie the star shoes into complete looks, at once emphasizing their classic character while revealing unexpected versatility.

The accompanying trio of brief video clips deepen the focus on the intimate final act of putting one’s shoes on before heading out, while the delightful vocal soundtrack ends a spirit of playfulness and refinement.

Clear and communicative accessories campaigns are a must for any major brand, and this one does nice work to emphasize the spirit of the star pieces while also deepening the established Lanvin visual world of elegant ease.
