Lanvin Unveils a New Boutique at South Coast Plaza

Lanvin announce the opening of its new boutique at South Coast Plaza, a premier international shopping destination in Costa Mesa, California. The boutique’s design follows the architectural concept by Bernard Dubois, which debuted last summer with the opening of a flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York City. South Coast Plaza is the sixth boutique to showcase Dubois’ bold vision, following locations in Madison Avenue, Shenzhen, and Riyadh.

Inspired by the Neoclassical and Art Deco movements, Dubois has crafted a new architectural vocabulary for Lanvin. Classical elements such as enfilades, symmetries, columns, and architraves are meticulously interpreted, resulting in a majestic backdrop for France’s oldest continually operating couture house. The new South Coast Plaza boutique spans 1,540 square feet and features environmentally friendly elements, including a natural clay-based material called marmorino, which evokes the landscapes of southern France. Recyclable aluminum panels, next-generation lighting, limestone, oxidized and hammered brass, and beige velvet create a rich palette of textures throughout the space.

Lanvin South Coast Plaza opened its doors on May 31st on level one. The boutique offers a curated selection of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories, footwear, and dedicated spaces for Lanvin Lab and Edition Soir, a perennial collection of men’s and women’s evening wear and accessories.
