Le Grand Dîner du Louvre Celebrates a Successful Inauguration

The Inaugural Event Surpassed Its Fundraising Goal and Created an Evening of Artful Style

The Musée du Louvre hosted the Grand Dîner du Louvre, raising a record €1.4 million, during the opening night of Paris Fashion Week. The event, now officially part of Paris Fashion Week as designated by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, attracted prominent figures across various industries, including fashion, music, and film.

With the backing of founding partner Visa Infinite, the gala dinner saw over 350 guests enjoying a Michelin-starred menu prepared by Chef Anne-Sophie Pic in the Cour Marly. The evening progressed with an afterparty under I. M. Pei’s iconic Pyramid, drawing nearly 1,000 attendees. The afterparty featured a performance by recent Grammy winner Doechii, adding a vibrant conclusion to the night.

This year’s event not only celebrated the ongoing ‘LOUVRE COUTURE’ exhibition but also set a new benchmark in fundraising for the museum, exceeding its initial goal of €1 million. The overwhelming support from fashion houses and the Louvre’s patrons contributed to this success. The gala, promising to be a recurring highlight, is scheduled to return in 2026.
