For nearly four decades, Loro Piana has celebrated the intersection of craftsmanship and classic motoring, a passion first formalized with the launch of the Loro Piana Classic Car Team in 1987. Over the years, the Maison’s crews have become synonymous with sophistication on the road, achieving more than 200 overall victories and 500 class wins across prestigious rallies including the Mille Miglia, Coppa d’Oro delle Dolomiti, and Italy’s Historic Car Regularity championships. The Maison’s dedication to technical innovation and aesthetic refinement extended naturally to apparel, inspiring iconic pieces such as the Roadster jacket, first introduced in 2004 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Designed for functionality and elegance, the jacket remains a symbol of Loro Piana’s ability to merge performance with timeless style.
This year, Loro Piana once again partnered with The I.C.E. St. Moritz, the International Concours of Elégance, for the third consecutive edition. Set against the frozen lake of St. Moritz, the two-day event showcased the Maison’s exclusive capsule collection, including the Roadster in Cash Herringbone Coarsehair Storm System® for men, the Roadster Mini Field jacket in Cash Cheviot Coarsehair Storm System® for women, a half-zip cashmere knit, and accessories such as leather driving gloves and a car-inspired cashmere and silk foulard. Loro Piana transformed its boutique windows into a snow-frosted tableau where miniature vintage cars glided down slopes etched with tire-track chevron patterns, perfectly echoing the Maison’s longstanding dialogue between automotive elegance and sartorial sophistication.
