Loro Piana Unveils Exclusive Bergdorf Goodman Activation in New York

Installation runs October 17 to November 3 at the Madison Avenue flagship

Loro Piana will stage a special project with Bergdorf Goodman this fall, featuring a window and façade installation at the department store’s women’s location on Madison Avenue. Running from October 17 through November 3, the initiative underscores the longstanding relationship between the Italian luxury house and the American retailer.

Loro Piana first entered the U.S. market in the 1960s through fabric exports before opening a New York townhouse showroom on 61st Street in 1994. This marked the brand’s first retail presence ahead of its inaugural official store in Milan four years later.

For Bergdorf Goodman, Loro Piana will present windows conceived and created by the brand with a refined Art Deco aesthetic. The façade will also be animated in an unexpected way, providing a striking street-side presence.

The activation coincides with the debut of exclusive products at the store, including the prelaunch of the holiday 2025 collection, alongside signature designs in exclusive fabrics and leathers. Personalization opportunities will be available for items such as the Grande Unita cashmere scarf and the Unito blanket.

The project follows Loro Piana’s recent centenary celebration, which included a takeover of Harrods in London for the 2024 holiday season. In the U.S., the brand expanded with a Los Angeles flagship on Rodeo Drive, notable for its façade of glazed ceramic tiles crafted by a Tuscan atelier.

The collaboration comes during a leadership transition for the house. In March, parent company LVMH named former Loro Piana chief executive Damien Bertrand as deputy CEO of Louis Vuitton. He was succeeded by Frédéric Arnault, previously CEO of LVMH Watches, continuing the Arnault family’s generational influence across the group’s portfolio.
