Review of Louis Vuitton Aerogram 2021 Ad Campaign by Photographer Johan Sandberg
Louis Vuitton celebrates transition and the spirit of travel with a new campaign for its freshly updated Aerogram collection.
Launched last year, Louis Vuitton’s Aerogram collection has been updated with new models and shades. Blending the heritage of travel with the modernity of a distinctly urban look, the Aerogram men’s leather goods collection embodies craftsmanship and nomadism, values held dear to the maison. Inspired by the aerogram, which is envelope and letter in one, LV Aerogram is unveiling three rich new colors this year.
Taking its cue from the collection, the campaign similarly combines a sense of history and heritage in travel with sleek contemporaneity.
Captured in a train and on a train platform, the three protagonists are international travelers, adventurous yet at home in moments of transition as they move from place to place. The images boast an elegantly cohesive color scheme of warm neutrals across the aerogram accessories, the ready-to-wear styling, and the surrounding environments.
Slick, stylish, and cohesive, the campaign is a subtly powerful way to carry forward Louis Vuitton’s iconic spirit of adventure.
