Review of Louis Vuitton “Horizons Never End” Spring 2023 Ad Campaign by Photographer Glen Luchford with models Gisele Bundchen
Louis Vuitton and Gisele Bündchen take Miami in the latest chapter of the house’s “Horizons Never End” campaign.
The campaign highlights Louis Vuitton’s recent-ish Horizon luggage collection (which was designed by famed industrial designer Marc Newsom), and forms a sequel to a recent campaign for the collection that starred Jackson Wang in Paris.
This time around, the luggage accompanies Gisele on a trip to Miami, where she steps out of the cab from the airport and directly onto the beach, shedding her clothes down to her LV-monogram one piece (but keeping her suitcase at her side) as she strides toward the crystal blue surf – a pristine ideal of luxury vacationing.
The photography and main video are accompanied by a few other videos that are perhaps a bit more down to earth, featuring Gisele’s voice as she reflects on the practical aspects of the suitcase, like how it’s perfect for her status as a “carry-on girl.”
The campaign’s idealized supermodel-life-of-luxury aesthetic is a solid showcase of Louis Vuitton’s signature spirit of elevated adventure.
