Men's Pre-Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Review of Louis Vuitton Men’s Pre-Spring 2025 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Pharrell Williams with models Gabriel Nhial, Hedi Ben Tekaya, Jonas Mason, Long Li, and Mohamed Hassan

Louis Vuitton goes to the dogs with its latest menswear campaign, highlighting creative director Pharrell Williams’ Spring 2025 Precollection.

The narrative of the playful short film follows an imaginary dog show, channeling all the excitement, elegance, and poise of the best-in-show competition as the talented canines sit, stay, and jump. But this isn’t just a dog show; it’s a fashion show as well, and the trainers are looking just as good as their canine companions in Williams’ newest collection – which just so happens to include complementary pet accessories. Even the set design isn’t without an LV touch in the form of a damier check floor.

The accompanying photographs form a kind of behind-the-scenes look at the personalities behind the competition, with fun yet sophisticated portraits of both the human and animal characters.

It’s exciting to get another unique look at the expanding creative multiverse that is Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Men’s. This chapter is undoubtedly his most playful (and most social-media-friendly) yet, and it feels like a surprising yet totally fitting extension of his perspective of optimism and cross-disciplinary creative community. Bringing humor, heart, and style, Louis Vuitton earns best in show.
