Soulful and warm, the portraits feature models who are mothers alongside their families, or models appearing side-by-side with their own mothers.
Meanwhile, still-life product shots see delicately composed flower arrangements rise from giftable accessories. Other images offer a delicate look of childhood joy as the kids hold a tea party or play in springtime settings. Animal companions like ducklings and dogs appear too, as well as seasonal fruits and vegetables.
At this point, the “real mothers” concept is a very familiar formula, so it takes some extra visual or narrative creativity to make a Mother’s Day campaign that stands out. Here, Louis Vuitton has done just that, uplifting intimate family portraits with a clever approach to still-life imagery and elements of environmental storytelling.
