Review of Louis Vuitton Spring 2024 Ad Campaign by Photographer Tim El Kaïm with models Annemary Aderibigbe, Apolline Rocco Fohre, Grace Valentine, and Hejia Li
Louis Vuitton pairs classic Parisian style with forward-thinking vision in its latest Spring 2024 campaign, which was lensed by photographer Tim El Kaïm.
Embodied by a cast of returning LV muses, the imagery pits Nicolas Ghesquière’s visionary synthesis of historical design codes with an experimental spirit against some of Paris’ most recognizable scenery. Particularly striking are the portraits captured at the upper levels of the Pompidou, where the museum’s industrial architecture gives way to a sweeping panorama of the city’s famous skyline. Other images see models lounge on marble steps or before neoclassical pillars, continuing the theme of a progressive palimpsest of historical layers.
It’s a testament to the strength of Ghesquière’s design vision for the brand that just by setting these looks against its home city that they can attest to such a strong intermingling of past, present, and future.
