Louis Vuitton Unveils Gold Lockit for Unicef Anniversary

An anniversary edition transforms a symbolic jewel into a renewed commitment to children worldwide

Louis Vuitton opens the tenth anniversary of its partnership with Unicef by unveiling a limited gold edition of the Silver Lockit pendant, signaling both continuity and renewal in one quietly powerful gesture. First introduced in 2016, the Silver Lockit was conceived as a tangible pledge—an object rooted in the House’s history and redirected toward global purpose. Inspired by the padlock of the 1901 Steamer bag, the design has long stood for protection and trust; rendered now in yellow gold, it carries those values into a new chapter.

Over the past decade, the Louis Vuitton for Unicef collaboration has evolved through annual reinterpretations of the Silver Lockit, each one designed to spark awareness around children’s rights while generating meaningful financial support. To date, the partnership has raised more than $28 million, benefiting Unicef programs focused on health, education, and child protection for the world’s most vulnerable children. This anniversary edition deepens that impact: for every gold pendant sold, $800 will be donated directly to Unicef, reinforcing the link between craftsmanship and contribution.

Produced in a very limited series and available in 130 Louis Vuitton stores worldwide as well as online, the unisex pendant is crafted exclusively with certified Responsible Jewellery Council partners, underscoring the House’s commitment to responsible sourcing. The year-long celebration will continue in April with new additions to the Silver Lockit 2026 collection, accompanied by further activations throughout 2026. Subtle in scale yet resonant in intent, the gold Silver Lockit stands as a reminder that luxury, at its most enduring, is defined not only by what it adorns—but by what it supports.
