Now Independently Published, The Biannual Returns Under Direction of Creative Agency Convoy
LOVE Magazine is set to return after a nearly five-year hiatus. Relaunched as an independent biannual print publication, the title will reenter the publishing landscape under the creative direction of Paris-based agency Convoy.
Originally founded by Katie Grand, LOVE gained recognition for its bold editorial stance and visual experimentation. The relaunch is led by Convoy’s co-founders Juan Costa Paz and Nordine Benotmane, who are overseeing the publication’s new direction with a team based in Paris and other international locations.
According to the announcement, the new iteration of LOVE will maintain fashion as its central focus while expanding its coverage to include subjects such as identity, health, technology, politics, art, film, and travel. “This is a year for fashion to look beyond itself—to step outside the echo chamber and move forward by engaging with new cultural spaces. Our goal is to make LOVE a platform where those perspectives meet, collide, and spark something meaningful,” said Costa Paz.

The publication’s shift is informed by Costa Paz’s twelve years living in Paris and his perspective on contemporary youth culture. “There’s a youth here exploring its identity while staying closely attuned to what’s happening elsewhere—in Lagos, Seoul, Buenos Aires,” he added.
Convoy brings prior editorial experience to the project, including a three-year collaboration with Vogue, where Costa Paz worked as global creative director. The agency has also developed campaigns and creative direction for clients such as Louis Vuitton, Nike, Google, Miu Miu, and Off-White. Its ongoing work with Vogue includes leading the creative strategy for the Vogue World initiative.
Benotmane emphasized the value of cross-disciplinary collaboration in shaping the magazine’s future. “The most exciting creativity happens through exchange—when different worlds, disciplines, and perspectives collide. LOVE is designed to host and celebrate that kind of energy,” he said.
In addition to print, LOVE will be used as a platform for events and cultural programming. The first issue is scheduled to launch in September 2025 and will be distributed internationally, with availability in Paris, London, Milan, New York, and Los Angeles. The magazine will publish twice per year.
