New ‘America’s Sweetheart Cotton Collection’ follows Kentucky Derby debut
Following the debut of their “American Icons” collaboration at the Kentucky Derby, Cotton Incorporated and LoveShackFancy have unveiled the second phase of their partnership: the America’s Sweetheart Cotton Collection, featuring eight members of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Among those featured are Reece Weaver, Kylie Dickson, Camille Sturdivant, and Kelly Villares.
Cotton fabrics have long been central to LoveShackFancy’s design approach, especially in creating the brand’s signature silhouettes and Heritage styles. The capsule emphasizes comfort and a romantic aesthetic, continuing that legacy. According to the campaign, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders represent “bold, courageous, beautiful, empowered, and unapologetically themselves,” aligning with the capsule’s themes of freedom and confidence.
Photographed at The Star—the 91-acre campus housing the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and training facility in Frisco, Texas—the campaign captures the collection in a game-day atmosphere. It features cheer routines, pom-poms, and images of the women in motion, reflecting both the clothing and their team spirit.
The 28-piece collection includes women’s and girls’ apparel and accessories in cotton fabrics. Designs appear in patriotic and nostalgic motifs: red, white, blue, and pink hues, picnic plaids, subtle star prints, and embroidered cherries. The line includes sundresses, denim items, embroidered sweaters, and matching accessories. The Henderson Bag features a floral American flag motif, the Octavia Pouch echoes the cherry theme, and the Balletta Barette incorporates the capsule’s signature prints.
To mark the launch, Cotton Incorporated and LoveShackFancy will host a public event at the brand’s Dallas boutique on June 21. The tailgate-inspired gathering includes a meet-and-greet with two of the featured cheerleaders and team mascot Rowdy. Attendees can shop the collection, receive promotional gifts, and enjoy refreshments.
Framed as all-American summer attire, the capsule incorporates some of LoveShackFancy’s top-selling silhouettes along with new limited-edition items. The focus remains on cotton’s functionality and ease of movement. The pieces are designed to suit warm weather while emphasizing femininity and versatility through breathable fabric.
