Brand expands its romantic aesthetic with a debut collection for boys and men
LoveShackFancy has officially entered the menswear market with the launch of MR FANCY, the brand’s first collection for boys and men. Long anticipated by the label’s community, the new line extends LoveShackFancy’s romantic, vintage-inspired aesthetic into menswear.
The launch follows years of requests from customers, according to the brand, as well as a history of its signature hoodies being worn—and borrowed—by male fans. MR FANCY reinterprets traditional menswear staples with the label’s hallmark design sensibility, offering items such as sun-faded floral button-downs, retro swim trunks, and oversized sweatshirts in washed pastels.
“It’s very common for girls to borrow their boyfriend’s clothes… but my husband borrows my oversized hoodies, too,” said Rebecca Hessel Cohen, founder and creative director. “For years, Todd has lived in our custom floral sweatshirts and the Gap x LoveShackFancy hoodies. Creating a menswear collection felt like the most natural next step, not only for him, but for our entire multigenerational community that continues to grow.”
While LoveShackFancy’s entry into menswear arrives amid a broader industry expansion in the category, the brand positions MR FANCY as a reflection of its core values rather than a trend-based move. The debut emphasizes timeless design and nostalgic charm, aimed at both existing and new customers.
The brand notes that while the line is designed for men and boys, the pieces are likely to appeal to its full customer base. “These are the pieces she’ll want to borrow right back,” the brand added in a statement.
