Ludovic de Saint Sernin and Zara Unveil New York–Inspired Collaboration

The partnership introduces a gender-fluid collection that captures the rhythm and glamour of city life.

Zara has announced its latest designer collaboration with Ludovic de Saint Sernin, arriving on November 17. The collection spans womenswear, menswear, and beauty, marking a continuation of Zara’s strategy to bring independent design perspectives to a global audience. The campaign, shot by Gordon von Steiner, features models Alex Consani and Amelia Gray.

The collaboration reflects de Saint Sernin’s fascination with New York—a city whose energy, diversity, and contradictions have long influenced his work. The designer calls it his “perfect wardrobe,” where sensual tailoring meets practical ease. The pieces are built to transition seamlessly from day to night, equally at home in a subway car as in the back of a chauffeured ride.

Drawing from his established visual language, de Saint Sernin reimagines signature elements—graphic motifs, fluid silhouettes, and precise construction details—through Zara’s accessible framework. The result is a collection that merges glamour with utility, translating his Paris-rooted aesthetic into something distinctly metropolitan.

This marks a milestone moment for de Saint Sernin, who has spent the past eight years cultivating his brand’s intimate, gender-inclusive identity. With this partnership, his approach to sensual minimalism reaches a broader global audience while maintaining the craftsmanship and attitude central to his design ethos.
