Maison Karl Lagerfeld and The Karl Lagerfeld Macau hosted a VIP after-party at the Mark Hotel, immediately following the 2023 Met Gala.
The star-studded event was attended by the VIP guests from their table at the Gala: Michelle Yeoh, Jared Leto, Cara Delevingne, Carla Bruni, Amber Valletta, Brian Tyree Henry, Alton Mason and Manu Rios in addition to a diverse crowd of additional A-listers, influencers, creatives and cultivators, who will celebrate in honor of design icon Karl Lagerfeld.
The Met Gala marks the opening of The Costume Institute’s spring 2023 exhibition, Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, which explores the unique creative process of the late designer, whose career spanned more than six decades. The Gala provides the department with its primary source of annual funding for exhibitions, publications, acquisitions, operations, and capital improvements. The exhibition goes on view to the public on Friday, May 5 at The Met Fifth Avenue.
Key attendees were dressed in a mix of looks including bespoke and archive pieces alongside the brands latest pre-fall ‘Ultimate Icon Collection’ which draws inspiration from Karl’s extensive archives and, specifically, his legendary sketches.
