The Visual Narrative Extend’s Marine Serre’s Creative World and Iconic Moon Print
Marine Serre has taken over the iconic window displays of Galeries Lafayette with a special installation set to run from February 26 through March 27.
Exploring a creative narrative at the intersection of cinema and painting, Serre’s window designs offer viewers an initiatory journey akin to a visual odyssey. This narrative unfolds through scenes that depict a road, serving as the central motif of a mystical and sensory quest. Each display captures a moment where the mundane merges with the fantastical, portraying nature as both a backdrop and a sanctuary.
Highlighted throughout the displays is Marine Serre’s iconic All Over Moon monogram, which roots each scene firmly within the brand’s identity. Adding to the mystical ambiance are floating flags emblazoned with the lunar logo, enhancing the otherworldly feel of the displays.
The installation invites onlookers to see the journey itself as the destination, suggesting that beauty is found not just upon arrival but also in the progression towards it. The moon, a constant presence in the displays, serves as a guide in this artistic exploration.
Galeries Lafayette also partnered with Hans Boodt Mannequins, whose collaboration was pivotal in bringing Marine Serre’s creative vision to the forefront in these window displays.
