Through partnership with Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, Stewart’s line Elm Biosciences is born
What can Martha Stewart not do? It’s a question we’ve been asking for decades, with no real answer in sight. Now, Stewart is adding skincare to her resume with the launch of Elm Biosciences, a new line developed alongside board-certified dermatologist and biotech entrepreneur Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, known for his work on brands like Rhode.
The duo first connected seven years ago and have spent the last five developing two products: the A3O Elemental Serum and the Inner Dose Daily Skin Supplement. In classic Martha fashion, the line has undergone extensive testing and research–Bhanusali says he sent her more studies than he can count. That precision shows: Elm is already backed by 350 dermatologist advisers.
Set to launch on September 17th, Elm is built around the idea of “intentional skincare for living well and aging well.” Known for her glowing complexion, often attributed to her daily green juice, Stewart wished to create products that deliver that same radiance to consumers without the fuss of dermatologists visits. Together, she and Bhanusali aim to make expert-backed skincare more direct, cutting out the wait room and getting straight to the results.
In an industry saturated with celebrity-backed brands and big-name campaigns, Stewart is counting on science, rigor, and time well spent to set Elm Biosciences apart. Debuting the day after Stewart’s 84th birthday, the line celebrates, and shares, the signature glow she’s long been known for.
