Creative Director Ian Griffiths Takes us to Venice This June
Max Mara has shared the location and date for its Resort 2025 runway show. Creative director Ian Griffiths will present the collection Venice, Italy on June 11th, 2024.
Max Mara has been one of the leaders in the recent trend of major brand’s taking their resort shows to specific destinations, with Griffiths always going above and beyond to research craft traditions and team with local artisans. Previous resort destinations have included Stockholm, Lisbon, and the the island Ischia in the Gulf of Naples. While the latter location is in Italy, the collection was inspired by the jet-set aesthetic and the travel writings of Truman Capote, so Venice may mark the first time in recent practice that one of the Italian house’s resort collections has explored a quintessentially Italian craft perspective.
The house has yet to share specific details on the event venue. We look forward to seeing what Griffiths and the Max Mara team have in store for us this June.
