Max Mara’s Resort 2026 Show to Be Held at Caserta Royal Palace

Ian Griggiths Will Present the Collection at the Reggia di Caserta on June 17

Max Mara has announced that its Resort 2026 collection will be showcased at the Reggia di Caserta on June 17. The venue, a former royal palace approximately 23 miles from Naples, is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This 18th-century Baroque and Neoclassical structure was initially constructed as the main residence for the House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies when they were kings of Naples.

The palace, extending over five floors, features 1,200 rooms and includes a theater inspired by the San Carlo in Naples. Its extensive park, covering 120 hectares and incorporating hilly terrain, draws inspiration from the Palace of Versailles.

The Max Mara show is scheduled to coincide with the first day of the international menswear trade show Pitti Uomo, which begins in Florence on June 17 and continues until June 20. This will be followed by the men’s shows for Spring 2026 in Milan, taking place from June 20 to 24.

Previously, Max Mara staged its Resort 2025 show in Venice at the Palazzo Ducale, or Doge’s Palace, and the year before at Stockholm’s City Hall, a notable city symbol known for its tower and red brick facade, which also hosts the Nobel Prizes for literature and the sciences.

This marks the second time Max Mara has chosen Southern Italy for its resort collection; in 2021, the brand hosted its show on the island of Ischia at the Mezzatorre Hotel, set in a 16th-century watchtower overlooking the Gulf of Naples.

Over the years, Max Mara has also held resort shows in various global cities including New York, London, Shanghai, Berlin, Lisbon, and at its headquarters in Reggio Emilia.

Other upcoming destination shows include Moncler Grenoble’s fall 2025 show in Courchevel on March 15; Pucci in Portofino on April 4; Dior Pre-Fall in the garden of Tō-ji Temple in Kyoto on April 15; Chanel Cruise on Lake Como on April 29; Gucci Cruise in Florence on May 15; Louis Vuitton Cruise in France on May 22, with details yet to be announced; and Dior Cruise in Rome on May 27.
