Messika Opens Madison Avenue Flagship in Celebration of 20th Anniversary

A Parisian-Inspired Jewel Box Devoted Exclusively to High and Fine Jewelry

Messika has officially opened the doors to its new flagship on Madison Avenue, marking a milestone moment in its 20th anniversary year. The New York boutique is the Maison’s first space entirely dedicated to its Fine and High Jewelry collections—a move that underlines founder Valérie Messika’s continued focus on craft, culture, and couture-level design.

Designed to evoke the warmth and intimacy of a Parisian residence, the flagship weaves together deep shadowed blues, soft beige, black velvet, and muted golds. The space channels the spirit of Café Society—an era defined by elevated living and cultural flair—infused with Messika’s signature bold elegance and artistic vision.

“Madison Avenue has always held a mythical appeal for me. Opening a boutique here, as the Maison celebrates its 20th anniversary, is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. More than an address, it marks the beginning of a new chapter for Messika in a city I deeply cherish,” said Valérie Messika.

True to its roots in French craftsmanship, the boutique is built from materials hand-selected by Valérie herself. A blue-grey rug by STEPEVI anchors the interiors, while Atelier Martin Berger’s pigment-treated walls add depth and texture. In the rear, a VIP salon is tucked discreetly behind sliding metal mesh panels by Belgian artist Luc Druez, while a luminous bar—crafted using marble veneer on flexible backing—adds an architectural glow to the space.

Art and design play a starring role in the narrative. Works including a Matisse sketch, a Helmut Newton re-edition, and a Murano glass vase lend character to the interiors. Every item on display—some sourced from Messika’s travels or childhood memories—was personally curated to infuse the space with intimacy, audacity, and refinement.

With this new flagship, Messika not only enters a pivotal market but does so on its own terms: quietly luxurious, artistically confident, and unmistakably Parisian at heart.
