Bernard Arnault brings in highly seasoned veteran to take on Americas division at LVMH
Michael Burke’s resume speaks for itself, leaving no room for confusion over his new title as Head of Americas at LVMH. Burke has worked alongside Bernard Arnault since before the founding of LVMH. At Groupe Arnault, he oversaw investments in the United States, laying the groundwork for what would become a decades-long partnership. Outside of Arnault-lead corporations, Burke has accumulated an impressive list of titles including: President and CEO of Louis Vuitton North America, Executive Vice President and Worldwide Managing Director of Christian Dior Couture, Chairman and CEO of Fendi, and Chairman of Tiffany’s Board of Directors.
Currently, Burke serves as Chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion Group, overseeing brands including Celine, Givenchy, Kenzo, Loewe, Marc Jacobs, Patou, Pucci, and Rossimoda. Over the past 10 years, Burke has demonstrated his ability to drive global success through his leadership at Louis Vuitton. Burke’s move to Head of Americas will further LVMH’s mission of “ensuring the long-term development of each Maison in keeping with their identity, heritage, and expertise.”
In 2024, the U.S. accounted for a quarter of LVMH’s €84.7 billion in revenue. With a tumultuous American market, Arnault has turned to a seasoned veteran to ensure that LVMH’s success and expansion across the Americas not only continues but thrives.
