Michael Kors has launched its first-ever children’s line, in partnership with the French luxury group Children Worldwide Fashion (CWF).
In keeping with Michael Kors’ renowned jet-set sensibility, the launch campaign for the line was photographed in Ibiza, off the coast of Spain, with an abundance of sea and sky. Michael Kors’ quintessential blend of fashion and function is evident throughout, as is a cool, comfortable approach to clothes and accessories designed for ease of movement and self-confidence.
The spring delivery debuts today, online and in stores, with clothing and accessories for girls aged 4 to 14 and is inspired by the Michael Michael Kors women’s assortment and includes sport-chic activewear featuring the iconic MK logo. The capsule also features cool, classic separates like sleeveless jersey dresses and fleece skirts with branded jacquard taping, and playful floral dresses and skirts. The brand’s allover Signature print is showcased throughout, including on swimwear and backpacks. As for accessories, the spring launch offers up fun silhouettes such as a heart-shaped crossbody bag and a charming pink tote.
Later this year, the Michael Kors children’s line will be expanded to include infant and toddler sizes for girls (ages 3M to 3T).
To celebrate the launch, Michael Kors will be hosting events across the globe, featuring kid-friendly activations in destinations including New York, Dubai, Paris and Marbella, Spain. The activations will play off the jet-set feel of the campaign, immersing guests in an in-store adventure while providing a first look at the new girls’ line.
Michael Kors children’s clothing will be sold globally through Michael Kors digital flagships; wholesale partners including Galeries Lafayette, Zalando, Ounass, and Salam Stores; and through CWF distribution points.
