Michael Kors celebrates festivity in the city with a new Holiday 2024 campaign, directed by Bardia Zeinali with photography by Jared Kocka.
The campaign follows a cast of models and creatives as they soak up the holiday magic of New York City. From stocking up on beverage essentials at the bodega to catching a cab to the night’s next party, each bright visual vignette is full of life and sparkle across both the set design and styling.
The accompanying short film weaves these characters together into a musical narrative. As each makes a stop on a what to a holiday gathering, they are united in a moment of music.
While the beats of the short film do feel a bit contrived and calculated, and therefore don’t manage the emotional impact it may have been going for, the campaign does feel like a recognizably Michael Kors twist on the holiday campaign format. Sparkle, glamor, and New York City – it’s a very Michael Kors Christmas.
