New York-Based Brand Ventures Beyond Home Turf For Exclusive Collection Showcase
Michael Kors, a part of the Tapestry group alongside brands like Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman, will present its collection outside New York for the first time. Scheduled for December 12, the American luxury brand’s show in Dubai represents a noteworthy shift in showcasing the collection outside its traditional New York setting.
While the exact venue is yet to be revealed, the house is planning an exclusive gathering for around 250 distinguished guests, encompassing prominent clientele, global media, celebrities, and influencers. Over the past two years, Michael Kors has expanded its presence in the region, with boutiques in locations such as the Mall of Emirates and Dubai Mall, complemented by its e-commerce platform on Ounass.

The Dubai show will feature a curated range from the Spring/Summer 2024 collection, which originally premiered at New York Fashion Week in Brooklyn’s Domino Park. The collection embodies a summer essence, with dresses decorated with lace and a soft color palette, complemented by timeless everyday wear pieces.
To ensure inclusivity, Michael Kors will be livestreaming the event. Fashion aficionados around the world can tune in across the brand’s numerous social and digital channels.
