Gigi Hadid returns as the Miu Miu leathergoods muse for the brand’s latest campaign. Shot by Steven Meisel, the new chapter continues to explore the intersection of art history and innovative creativity.
Like the brand’s previous leathergoods campaigns that also starred Gigi Hadid, this latest installment draws inspiration from art history through the lens of contemporary photography. Meisel’s compositions channel the energy of 20th-century high-society portraiture, seeing Hadid exude picturesque poise in ornate wooden chairs before pastel backdrops.
Each photograph is then digitally painted, blurring the lines between artistic disciplines as Gigi and her Miu Miu ensembles transform from contemporary icon to artistically immortalized entity.
