The Show Will Take Place in the French Alps Resort Town on March 15
Moncler Grenoble has shared plans to showcase its Fall 2025 collection at Courchevel, a ski resort in the French Alps based in the Tarentaise Valley. Courchevel is located within Les Trois Vallées, renowned as the world’s most extensive linked ski region.
The French brand had earlier hinted at an exhibition on March 15 during December, but had refrained from publicizing the venue.
The fashion house, in a press statement, emphasized its long-standing association with winter sports and its commitment to crafting high-end attire suitable for mountain life. It stated, “The energy of winter sports, the warmth and joy of experiences shared on the snow, and the brand’s dedication to dressing all aspects of mountain life, combining high performance and high style, will be celebrated with a memorable brand experience at high altitude.”
Moncler Grenoble’s Fall 2024 event was held in Saint Moritz in February of the previous year. Remo Ruffini, the company’s chairman and chief executive officer, had then proposed a series of itinerant shows for Grenoble aimed at increasing the brand’s visibility.
Ruffini, an ardent skiing enthusiast, has been successful in enhancing Grenoble’s reputation. The Saint Moritz show was spectacular, featuring a forest view of the posh Swiss resort town from Clavadatsch lodge. More importantly, it caught the attention of celebrities such as Anne Hathaway, Willow Smith, and Kate Moss.
Moncler Grenoble gets its name from the French city that hosted the 1968 Olympic Games. Interestingly, Moncler was the official supplier for the French national ski team during those games. The pioneer Grenoble collection was showcased at New York’s Fashion week in January 2010.
Prior to the event held in Saint Moritz, the brand’s latest runway show was a winter ball in New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, which took place during the February 2017 New York Fashion Week.
In 2022, Moncler rebranded Grenoble as its “high-performance” division, supplemented by the fashion-forward Moncler Genius line and the lifestyle-focused Moncler Collection.
