Moschino

Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Review of Moschino Spring 2025 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Adrian Appiolaza and Photographer Willy Vanderperre with models Carol Monteiro, Diane Chiu, Selena Forrest, Elise Crombez, Alex Consani

Moschino deconstructs the fashion rulebook with its Spring 2025 campaign, captured by photographer Willy Vanderperre with art direction by M/M Paris.

Five models, seen through Vanderperre’s distinctive and stark lens as protagonists in a surreal drama, interact with oversized graphic posters by ripping, twisting, and bending them – an act of visual symbolism for revolutionizing the norms of typical communication and expression.

Boldly graphic textual elements have long been a part of Moschino’s design identity, and the campaign’s visual narrative cleverly extends that aspect of the collection, which also reincorporates nautical motifs and exaggerated textures.

While in some ways it’s still finding its footing in the world of contemporary luxury, the era of new creative director Adrian Appiolaza has been particularly tuned in to Moschino’s self-referential character and the wealth of its archive. This campaign feels like a powerful statement of that creative process, challenging fashion norms while looking both outward and inward.
