New collaboration highlights British design with a modern twist, launching September 4
Mulberry has unveiled its latest collaboration, partnering with South Korean designer Rejina Pyo for a limited-edition capsule collection. The Mulberry x Rejina Pyo line includes bags, accessories, ready-to-wear pieces, and jewelry, blending Mulberry’s British design heritage with Pyo’s modern and unexpected aesthetic.
The collection, part of Mulberry’s ongoing Mulberry Editions series, reflects a shared commitment to “Made to Last” design, quality craftsmanship, and a sense of community. Key items include a reworked version of Mulberry’s Blenheim bag, an understated Top Handle Crossbody, and playful pieces like a Teddy Bear keyring. The capsule also features sustainable leather, responsibly sourced wool, and organic cotton.
In addition to accessories, Pyo designed a small ready-to-wear selection, including a camel trench coat, a belted suit, and a draped knit top, all characterized by thoughtful, functional details. Jewelry in the collection offers an organic, textural finish inspired by Pyo’s artistic vision.
The campaign, photographed by Gwen Trannoy and starring Conie Vallese, celebrates womanhood and both brands’ strong female communities. Vallese, a longtime friend of Pyo, was selected to embody the collaboration’s spirit. An accompanying film offers a behind-the-scenes look at the project, with Pyo sharing insights into her creative process and values.
Speaking about the collaboration, Rejina Pyo said,
The timeless design and Made to Last ethos really resonated with me. Mulberry creates pieces you want to cherish and treasure for a long time, it’s that essence that I always aim to imbue in my own brand.”
The Mulberry x Rejina Pyo collection will be available starting September 4, 2024, both online and at select Mulberry and Rejina Pyo stores. Prices range from $220 to $1,525.
