The iconic supermodel offers a tease of her designs for the British fashion brand
Naomi Campbell has provided a sneak peek of her upcoming collection for the UK fashion retailer, Pretty Little Thing. The brand, established in 2012 by Umar and Adam Kamani, is affiliated with the Boohoo group, founded by Mahmud Kamani.
Recently, Campbell posted a monochromatic image of herself in a leather jacket on her Instagram, overlayed with the words, “Pretty Little Thing designed by Naomi Campbell”.
Set to release on 5 September, just ahead of New York Fashion Week, there’s speculation about a potential high-profile runway show to commemorate the launch.

The collaboration was initially announced in June. As per Pretty Little Thing’s statement, the collection aims to honor “Naomi’s legacy and iconic signature style”. The brand’s website lauds Campbell as “The muse, the supermodel, the moment”, inviting customers to subscribe for notifications about the collection’s availability.
September promises to be an eventful period for Campbell. Apart from the collection launch, she will feature in an Apple TV+ documentary titled “The Super Models”. This four-episode series, releasing on September 20, chronicles the meteoric rise of Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington during the 1980s. Additionally, these fashion trailblazers grace the September 2023 covers of both British and American Vogue.
Although specific details regarding the collection’s designs remain under wraps, there’s anticipation that it might reflect the Nineties minimalism, a trend Campbell was instrumental in popularizing. Potential elements might include mini dresses, strappy tops, and straightforward silhouettes, while also drawing inspiration from Campbell’s recent penchant for sophisticated tailoring.
Over the years, Campbell has worked with eminent brands such as Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, and Burberry. On a personal front, she recently celebrated the arrival of her second child. Furthermore, Campbell isn’t the sole notable figure to collaborate with Pretty Little Thing. Previously, the brand has joined forces with celebrities like Molly-Mae Hague from Love Island and musicians Teyana Taylor, Lil Kim, and Doja Cat.
