Nordstrom NYC’s 57th Street Flagship Becomes a Holiday Wonderland With The Blizz on 57th Street
This holiday season, Nordstrom NYC’s flagship on 57th Street invites visitors into a magical world with The Blizz on 57th Street, part of its Wonder All the Way campaign. Running from November 27th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, the festive activation blends imaginative storytelling, captivating decor, and interactive experiences for a holiday destination unlike any other.
At the heart of the experience is Mr. Blizz, an inflatable figure presiding over the 57th Street entrance. This larger-than-life character and his quirky friends embody holiday cheer, transforming ordinary objects into whimsical personalities, from traffic cones to lipsticks and umbrellas. With a voice cast featuring John Waters and Fran Drescher, each character exudes humor and charm.
Inside, visitors encounter Pigeonthia, a fortune-telling pigeon, and Wonder Ring, a ring-dispensing machine offering playful fortunes. A treasure map guides guests through the store to collect stickers and discover surprises, culminating in opportunities to win prizes.

The flagship’s interiors feature imaginative installations inspired by New York’s bustling streets. The whimsical world includes characters like Dimmy and Quasar, two burnt-out stars, and Fritz the Friendly Pretzel, a soft-spoken compliment giver. Each corner holds a new delight, from chatty scarves to anxious umbrellas, ensuring surprises at every turn.
Returning this year is the popular Santa Snow Show, with daily performances featuring special characters and opportunities for ‘elf-ies’ with Santa on Lower Level 2.
