Palm Angels Expands Its Retail Network In Apac Region With The Opening Of The First Boutique In Seoul, Korea
Palm Angels accelerates its global retail expansion in APAC region with the opening of the first boutique in Seoul, opened in partnership with Forward Global Fashion Co., Ltd. an international leading company in fashion industry.
After Milan, Miami and Las Vegas, the Seoul store opening follows the international development plan of the brand bringing to Korea the classic taste of Milan, Palm Angels hometown, and the brutalist aesthetic typical of some buildings in Los Angeles, where it all started and where the soul of the brand resides.
Located at 18-2, Dosan-daero 45-gil, Gangnam-gu, a well-known luxury shopping destination of the Korean capital, the new Palm Angels store develops on two floors of the Forward Global Fashion building. Enhanced by the presence of a full height window, the store extends on a total area of 150 square meters dedicated to Palm Angels menswear and womenswear collections alongside the kid’s line and accessories. The space is characterized by walls with a pink concrete finish and is warmed up using a whitened cedar wood for the central counter display and the grid ceiling beams. The pink calacatta marble of the window backdrop returns in the interior furnishing which alternate with the racks in burnished stainless steel. The boutique design is characterized by geometric lines set in a warm atmosphere where the displays are outlined to highlight the brand collections. Pink bursts onto the scene unexpectedly, disrupting the minimalism of the space with a blast of contemporary pop attitude. Enriched with a wallpaper that reminds the primordial outlines of ferns, the changing rooms immerse customers in a warm enveloping atmosphere reminiscent of a California landscape.
“I am really thrilled about the Seoul opening and proud of this new brand milestone that inaugurates our partnership with Forward Global Fashion. The store tells the whole Palm Angels story as it perfectly embodies the emotions, inspirations, and values of the brand,” Francesco Ragazzi, the brand Founder and Creative Director, affirms.
The new store has been developed by the Palm Angels internal architects’ team, in tight collaboration with Ragazzi. The interior layout follows the recognizable design model of the brand: Palm Angels collections are captivatingly arranged on shelves and metal displays, as well as wooden cabinets highlighting the most iconic pieces. The free-flowing, eclectic layout reflects the creative unexpected take that has always been a part of the brand’s DNA.
In addition to the men’s, women’s and children’s lines, the Seoul boutique is hosting the exclusive capsule collection, homage to the city, on sale from April 10th.
