Dynamic Duo: Roger Vivier Taps Pat Cleveland and Anna for Fall Icons Campaign
Roger Vivier has enlisted Pat Cleveland and her daughter Anna to star in its fall Icons campaign, with images set to be unveiled on Wednesday.
This collaboration marks the luxury footwear brand’s first project with Pat Cleveland, a former supermodel. However, it represents an expansion of its ongoing partnership with Anna, who first modeled for the brand in 2020 and wore Roger Vivier shoes for her wedding in 2023.
The campaign, envisioned by creative director Gherardo Felloni and captured by photographer Marcin Kempski, showcases the mother-daughter duo in retro-inspired images reminiscent of the 1960s Parisian avant-garde.
In line with the Vivier Optical collection showcased in Paris earlier this year, the campaign draws inspiration from the Op Art movement, featuring symmetric compositions and peek-a-boo frames that highlight the collection’s graphic style. The brand also incorporates elements paying homage to the founder’s creativity, including radial stripe patterns, retro floral embroideries, and oversized accessories.
Felloni shared, “The 1960s were a transformative era for Roger Vivier, influencing his move towards a sleek, graphic, and pioneering design philosophy. Bringing back the timeless creations from this period in a fresh, contemporary manner has always been my goal, and this season felt like the perfect moment to reintroduce them.”
The campaign showcases key pieces from the fall collection, such as the Chequered Belle Vivier slingbacks, zebra-printed handbags, two-tone enamel daisy jewelry, Jewel bags, and Belle Vivier Trompette pumps.
Previous Icons for Roger Vivier have included Laura Dern and her daughter Jaya Harper in a campaign lensed by photographer Luke Gilford.
As the 81st Venice Film Festival gets underway, Roger Vivier is opening a new boutique in Venice on Calle Larga XXII Marzo, close to St. Mark’s Square. The store takes design cues from the brand’s Parisian flagship boutique on Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, featuring a polished steel staircase inspired by a scene from the film “Belle de Jour.”
The boutique’s interior includes pink carpets, seating, and wall displays showcasing various products in shades of pink. Baroque mirrors adorn the walls, suspended by fixtures paying tribute to Murano, the island renowned for its glassmaking tradition in Venice.
