The Latest Chapter of the Athletic Fashion Partnership Sees the Mountain Biker Take on the Lavaux Vineyard Terraces
Prada Linea Rossa has once again teamed up with Red Bull athlete for a special project at the intersection of fashion, sport, and film. This time, the brand supports BMX rider Kriss Kyle for an extraordinary biking venture at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lavaux, Switzerland. Kyle, a mountain biker, explored the scenic Lavaux Vineyard Terraces, which lie on the lower slopes between Lake Geneva and nearby villages. This marked the first time a mountain biker ventured through this remarkable landscape.
The challenge was not only a physical one but also a showcase of innovative apparel technology. Prada Linea Rossa provided Kyle with specialized clothing designed for extreme physical activities. The garments, characterized by their breathability, lightweight, and strong heat-sealed fabric, are crafted to enhance freedom of movement, a necessity for the discipline of stunt biking.
Kyle expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “It was a dream come true collaborating with Prada on this project, it’s a brand that I’ve looked up to for many years.”
The venture was captured on film, highlighting Kyle’s skills as he navigated a specially constructed route on site. This event continues the ongoing partnership between Prada Linea Rossa and Red Bull, which focuses on promoting unique sporting events and supporting athletes in achieving their exceptional ambitions.
