Ralph Lauren’s Summer Luncheon Evokes Pastoral Americana in East Hampton
Ralph Lauren brought its vision of elevated ease to East Hampton, hosting an intimate summer luncheon on the grounds of the historic Mulford Farm. The brand welcomed a select group of guests—including Naomi Watts, Molly Gordon, Aerin Lauder, and Meredith Hayden—to celebrate heritage, hospitality, and the enduring appeal of American style.
The setting, one of the nation’s most significant English Colonial farmsteads, served as a fitting backdrop. Restored with support from Ralph Lauren, Mulford Farm was activated for the afternoon with understated charm. Guests were invited to tour the 17th-century farmhouse, pose for garden portraits, and meander through a lawn dotted with branded cornhole games, a Ralph’s Coffee truck, and a laid-back lounge shaded by striped umbrellas and stocked with Polo’s summer “Beach Edition” newspaper.
Inside the Mulford Barn, Ralph Lauren’s signature blend of lifestyle and retail came to life. Attendees filled canvas Hamptons tote bags with curated produce and wildflower bouquets from Amber Wave Farm. Nearby, baskets of Ralph Lauren baseball caps and copies of Ricky Lauren’s The Hamptons: Food, Family, and History added a personal touch.
Guests, including David and Lauren Bush Lauren, Delaney Rowe, Valentina Ferrer, and Laura Jung, gathered beneath a sailcloth tent for lunch featuring seasonal favorites like lobster rolls, followed by ice cream sandwiches served on silver trays.
The event’s atmosphere captured Ralph Lauren’s long-standing narrative: a balance of nostalgia and modern refinement. With its focus on slowing down and savoring the beauty in everyday details—from a weathered doorknob to a fresh carrot pulled from the soil—the luncheon offered more than a lifestyle moment. It was a living mood board for the brand’s deeply rooted ethos: timeless, tactile, and quietly luxurious.
