Event Features Drone Show Highlighting Brand’s History
Ralph Lauren marked the premiere of the HBO documentary Very Ralph in Shanghai with a large-scale drone display over The Bund. The event, held in anticipation of the documentary’s debut, featured a coordinated show involving 1,000 drones lighting up the city’s night sky.
The drone display created ten distinct images reflecting Ralph Lauren’s career and brand legacy. Among the visuals were a silk tie symbolizing the brand’s origins, a portrait of Ralph Lauren, and the iconic Polo Pony logo. The imagery spanned an area equivalent to a football field and lasted for 15 minutes, providing a striking visual narrative set against Shanghai’s skyline.
This event combined advanced drone technology with a visual presentation tied to the themes of the documentary. The display aimed to convey Ralph Lauren’s legacy through a blend of innovation and artistic representation, offering audiences a preview of the documentary’s focus on the designer’s impact and career.
