Ralph Toledano Steps Down as Chairman of Victoria Beckham

Toledano helped shape the business following Neo’s 2017 investment

Ralph Toledano has stepped down as chairman of Victoria Beckham Ltd. after eight years, marking the end of a chapter that saw him play a central role in shaping the brand’s business trajectory.

Toledano, who joined the company in 2018 following Neo Investment Partners’ 30 million pound investment, said the decision comes as the business enters a stable and growth-oriented phase. “Technically, I’m retiring but in reality it’s the start of a new chapter for me,” he said, noting his continued personal connection to Victoria Beckham and confidence in the company’s leadership.

During his tenure, Toledano worked closely with Beckham and Neo founder David Belhassen to build the brand’s operational structure and expand its global positioning. The company has since shown strong financial progress, with group sales rising 19 percent to more than $170 million in 2025 and core operating profit increasing more than fourfold. Key growth drivers have included beauty, leather goods, dresses, and denim.

Belhassen said the business is approaching a 10 percent EBITDA margin for the first time, with both fashion and beauty divisions now profitable. He added that the long-term ambition is to scale the brand to $1 billion in revenue through category expansion and retail growth.

Toledano described the brand as being in “fine shape,” citing clear strategic direction and strong leadership as factors behind his decision to step aside. He will also step back from his role at Neo, where he became a partner during his time at Victoria Beckham Ltd.

Looking ahead, Toledano plans to focus on personal pursuits including reading, writing, and mentoring emerging talent. He described this next phase as centered on “learning and transmitting,” with a desire to study history more deeply and share his knowledge with future generations.

An industry veteran, Toledano previously held leadership roles at Puig’s fashion division and brands including Chloé, Karl Lagerfeld, and Guy Laroche, and served as president of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode from 2014 to 2022.
