Russell & Bromley Names First-Ever Creative Director

Daniel Beardsworth-Shaw Joins the Historic Footwear Brand as Its First Creative Director

Russell & Bromley has named Daniel Beardsworth-Shaw as its Creative Director, a newly created role for the footwear and accessories brand. Beardsworth-Shaw will be leading the brand’s design direction and product development, reporting directly to CEO Andrew Bromley. His inaugural collection will debut in autumn 2025.

The company described Beardsworth-Shaw as “a hugely accomplished multi-category designer and brand director with over a decade’s experience in the industry.” His background includes working in luxury and retail, having held design and product development roles at brands like Hunter, Sweaty Betty, and Christopher Raeburn.

During his time with Christopher Raeburn, Beardsworth-Shaw focused on sustainable design and production practices, emphasizing responsible and intelligent design processes. He has experience working across global markets, creating ranges, campaigns, and stores that balance creative concepts with commercial appeal.

As Russell & Bromley undergoes this period of change, the brand is also relocating its global headquarters to Kingly St W1 in London’s Soho district. The new headquarters will feature dedicated design and creative studios, representing a shift towards in-house design for the brand.

Additionally, the brand has collaborated with creative agency partners like ACNE in 2024 to support its ongoing brand transformation. Russell & Bromley aims to strengthen its position as a leading luxury fashion footwear brand through these partnerships and strategic initiatives.
