The Capsule Is Accompanied with a Special Sculpture by Artist Yusuke Hanai
Nike and Sacai are reuniting once again to launch their latest collaborative capsule on December 13. The collaboration will be available exclusively at sacai.jp, with an early release at Dover Street Market Los Angeles on November 22.
The collection consists of five pieces inspired by classic tracksuits. It includes two designs tailored for men, two for women, and a unisex T-shirt, offering a modern twist on athleisure staples.
Accompanying the launch is a sculpture by renowned illustrator Yusuke Hanai, created in response to the capsule. Hanai describes the piece as reflecting the message: “When we stumble and fall, and feel it’s impossible to carry on, there are people on our side encouraging us to take the next step forward. This bond is essential to our existence.”
Tina Kunakey and Zakari Kunakey star in the launch campaign, embodying themes of mutual support and resilience highlighted by Hanai’s work.
The sculpture will be available for purchase exclusively at sacai.jp starting December 13, with pre-orders opening at Dover Street Market LA on November 22. Meanwhile, an exhibition at T&Y GALLERY in Los Angeles will showcase an enlarged version of the sculpture – over three meters tall – alongside a collection of Hanai’s paintings. The exhibit runs from November 22 through December 21, operating daily from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at 821-823 E 3rd Street, Los Angeles, CA.
Shoppers can secure their items on a first-come, first-served basis through Sacai’s online store, with launch details to be shared via the brand’s official Instagram.
