The Two-Level Boutique in the Meatpacking District Introduces a New Retail Concept by Anthony Vaccarello
Saint Laurent has expanded its retail footprint in New York City with the opening of a new two-level boutique in the Meatpacking District. The new establishment, now the largest Saint Laurent store in the city, is situated at 72 Gansevoort Street. The design of the store introduces a fresh concept by Anthony Vaccarello, blending both raw and refined elements.
The interior of the store boasts a striking black wood staircase, alongside marble displays and unique wall features made of corduroy concrete and black mirror. The space is further enhanced by an array of carefully selected furniture pieces including tables crafted from black cosmic and travertino marble, niches in blue glazed ceramic, and counters of black glass. These elements are designed to create a harmonious and distinctive aesthetic throughout the store.
Adding to the store’s exclusive feel, vintage furniture pieces from renowned designers such as Gustav Stickley, Francis Jourdain, and Frank Lloyd Wright, among others, are prominently featured. This curated selection of furniture underscores the luxury brand’s commitment to integrating high design with retail experience.
Saint Laurent’s new boutique will offer the complete range of the house’s products, encompassing men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, and fine jewelry. This addition to the Meatpacking District complements the brand’s existing New York City locations at 3 East 57 Street and 80 Greene Street
