The Unveiling of the Iconic Window Display Accompanies a Range of Holiday Activations
Saks Fifth Avenue has unveiled its much-anticipated holiday windows at its flagship store in New York, coinciding with the launch of its “Gifts of Delight” holiday campaign. This year, the iconic displays center on fashion, featuring pastel-colored designs from high-profile designers such as Prada, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino, Loewe, and more. The windows, inspired by the festive elegance of macarons, are set against a wintry, crystalline backdrop and are framed by an illuminated facade and shimmering garland, marking the 100th anniversary of the flagship building.
Inside, visitors can explore a range of exclusive holiday offerings, including the debut of the Saks Fifth Avenue High Jewelry collection exhibit on the main floor. This installation will showcase unique pieces, such as a rare 100-carat diamond necklace, displayed in a five-week rotating exhibition. The exhibit incorporates layers of hollow light illuminations and glass walls to emphasize the intricate craftsmanship of each piece. Customers can schedule personalized appointments to shop the collection by scanning a QR code at the display.
The holiday atmosphere extends to Ralph’s Coffee Holiday Shop, open until January 1, 2025. Located on the main floor, it offers a selection of organic coffee blends, hot chocolate, and branded merchandise, including tote bags and graphic T-shirts. Adjacent to Ralph’s Coffee is the Saks Holiday Market, where curated seasonal products add to the festive experience.
For those seeking a culinary escape, L’Avenue at Saks has introduced a seasonal menu featuring holiday-inspired treats. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree from the ninth-floor restaurant or relax in its cozy Le Chalet lounge, an Alps-inspired space with a roaring fireplace and après-ski-style cocktails.
