Saks Global has appointed Brandy Richardson as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective August 18, 2025
The appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the luxury group, which now oversees both Saks.com and Saks Fifth Avenue retail stores; a unification intended to consolidate ownership, streamline decision-making, and present a more cohesive luxury offering to consumers. It additionally follows the major acquisition of Neiman Marcus group.
Richardson, a seasoned executive, joins with a wealth of relevant experience, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Tailored Brands Inc. since 2021. A substantial portion of her career, 15 years, was dedicated to the Neiman Marcus Group (NMG), where she held diverse finance leadership positions. Her tenure there included supervision of financial planning, merchandising finance, and real estate strategy; experience that aligns with Saks Global’s dual-channel structure and its focus on profitability across multiple platforms.
Marc Metrick, CEO of Saks Global Operating Group, emphasized that Richardson’s specialized expertise in both luxury retail and finance positions her as an ideal leader to steer the company’s financial performance through this period of significant change. In turn, Richardson expressed enthusiasm for her return to the luxury retail sector, highlighting her eagerness to contribute to Saks Global’s trajectory. She will be tasked with overseeing financial strategy across the business as they prepare for its next phase of growth during a transformative period within the luxury retail landscape.
Looking ahead, this selection signals Saks Global’s intent to strengthen internal alignment and navigate a competitive retail landscape with greater operational efficiency. Richardson’s role will be pivotal in shaping the future trajectory of luxury shopping and ensuring Saks Global’s financial stability and expansion. As luxury brands continue to recalibrate digital and in-store strategies, her combined experience positions her as a key player in shaping the group’s financial future.
