Samsøe Samsøe explores the intimate intersection of body and material with its new denim-focused Spring 2024 campaign. The campaign was photographed by Petros Studios and directed by Tom Funk.
Highlighting the Copenhagen-based brand’s low-impact denim, the imagery takes as its central element a duality of denim and skin. Organic indigo washes provide rich textural contrast when laid out side-by-side with intimate studio shots of a splatter of freckles over the bridge of a nose or the architectural smoothness of an arched back.
It’s a very simple approach, but the sensitive art direction and perspective of intimate, airy minimalism elevates the campaign beyond a mere denim lookbook and into a sensitive tribute to the act of consciously dressing the body.
