Schiaparelli Opens Gilded Pop-Up in Dubai Mall


The Parisian house launches a three-month retail concept blending surrealism and spectacle in Dubai’s Fashion Avenue

Maison Schiaparelli has opened a new pop-up in Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue, marking its latest push into high-impact international retail. The temporary space, which debuted on December 1 and runs through February 28, 2026, translates the house’s Place Vendôme identity into a glittering Middle Eastern setting.

Architecturally conceived as a sculptural gold box, the space nods to Schiaparelli’s signature surrealist codes with walls designed to mimic hammered brass and etched with the house’s emblematic motifs. Inside, the interior palette of gold and black lacquer mirrors the aesthetic of its Paris headquarters, originally designed by Jean-Michel Frank for Elsa Schiaparelli.

The pop-up features a curated edit from the Fall-Winter 2025 collection, alongside the house’s permanent “Iconics” range. Highlights include sculptural tailoring, trompe-l’œil knits, anatomical jewelry, and statement handbags such as the Secret and Face bags—items that have come to define Schiaparelli’s distinct take on couture-inflected ready-to-wear.

The launch reflects a growing appetite for theatrical retail experiences in key global markets, particularly in Dubai, where luxury shoppers continue to seek immersive, high-touch encounters with heritage maisons. The space is one of several recent expansions by Paris-based houses experimenting with pop-up formats to engage a geographically diverse clientele beyond traditional flagship cities.
