Skims slips into something a little more comfortable for the festive season with its Holiday 2024 campaign. Starring Canadian pop star Tate McRae, the campaign was photographed by cult film icon Harmony Korine.
The imagery takes the simple visual concept of being inside a giant snow globe and pushes it further in fun and festive directions. McRae poses alongside a giant polar bear or dances with inflatable tube guys. The accompanying short films turns up the energy while drawing further on the emerging pop icon’s star power.
Another example of Skims’ penchant for combining smart casting with direct and clever visuals, the campaign the campaign is a strong statement of the brand’s vision of sexy comfort reconsidered for holiday celebrations.
