Stella McCartney shares a quiet and intimate campaign for the Summer 2022 swimwear and lingerie collection.

With a focus on comfort and style in relaxed moments of simply enjoying being in one’s own body, the imagery achieves the important distinction for an intimates campaign of being more about how it feels to wear great lingerie or swimwear than how one looks while wearing it – though of course, everyone here looks great too.

While the imagery doesn’t surprise in any way, it doesn’t need to, and instead offers a recognizable look and comfortable and intimate summer moods.

The brand has also shared a brief but fresh and stylish campaign for its Summer 2022 eyewear collection.

The campaign consists of a mere two portraits, but they’re enough to communicate the personality of this season’s star eyewear styles. Natalia Vodianovna is captured in both the Espace Niemeyer, where Stella McCartney held its Spring 2022 show, and the Marqueyssac gardens where that collection’s campaign was set.

While a bit more campaign imagery would have been welcome – in terms of both quantity and creativity – these Instagram-ready portraits get the job done: it’s eyewear, and it looks good.
