Spring Season 2022 Ad Campaign

Review of Talel Spring Season 2022 Ad Campaign by Photographer Daniel Roché with Models Marie Lou Gomis and Max James

Talel celebrates a new season of visionary and minimal handbag design with a striking Spring 2022 campaign by photographer Daniel Roché.

Designed in Paris and manufactured in Italy, Talel offers leather handbags and accessories with a sharp design and a focus on unconventional and structured shapes, considering details and a sustainable production. The brand is anchored by its triangle bag, which comes in an array of bright colors and feels like a futuristic, Parisian response to Telfar.

This season, the label expands their offerings with a new version of the triangle bag, stretching the original prismatic shape into a wider style that reminds us of a cutting-edge version of a classic baguette bag.

Roché captures these triangular pieces in both street and studio photography on models Marie Lou Gomis and Max James. In both the naturalistic urban and the abstract studio settings, the unique silhouettes cut an impressive and effortlessly cool figure.

The sharply contemporary design of the star bags is complemented by Gabriella Norberg’s futuristic styling choices, which quietly recall the work of such forward-thinking designers as Marine Serre, Rick Owens, and TTSWTRS.

At once simple and minimal yet colorful and endlessly cool, the campaign is a powerful statement of the design vision of an exciting young brand that we expect will be making a quick rise to cult-icon status.
